I have bucket loads of happy childhood memories spent in the kitchen with my maternal grandparents – my Nan and Grandad, and every time I see them I add a few more to the long list.
I am delighted to introduce to you the latest addition to my household, Rivington. Announcing his existence on here puts serious pressure on me to actually keep the little chap alive, which, given my track-record, will be a serious challenge. Rivington, in case you hadn’t figured it out, is in-fact my brand new tomato plant.
So I was planning on writing about how wonderful it is in the winter months here in Dubai, because it allows you to live an al fresco existence. Laa dee daa. Bla bla bla. And then it started raining.
